Rehome Me: Amy
Amy has been tested positive for equine metabolic syndrome, she is not currently on any medication for this but if needed in the future then HorseWorld would contribute towards the costs. She is currently on 3-4 hours turnout per day and is coping well (this could possibly be extended for areas of poor quality grazing). However during times of good grass growth she will need the option of grass free turn out and/or extra exercise.
For somebody with the right set up for this quirky pony they will get in return a very steady mare who can be ridden by nervous and novice people. She is quiet to handle and have feet trimmed etc. She works alone in the arena and hacks out in front or behind, although needs a strong rider to go in front as she can be nappy. She is good with heavy traffic and generally not a spooky pony.
If you feel you could provide Amy with the appropriate care then please get in touch for more information. We would consider rehoming out of area for the right home.
